She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Miller and Beulah Miller (Byerly); and her husband Vernon Gericke of Postville. She is survived by: her daughters, Sue Rogers (Steven) of Danville and Karen Bainter (Lynn) of Fort Myers; her grandchildren, Michael (Samantha), Scot, Courtney (James) and Allie; her great grandchildren, Zoey, Jaxon, Ember and Caleb; and her niece Laurel.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
Memorials may be made in Marty's name to St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids.
