He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Evans and Thelma Ann Beardsley; his wife Mary Evans; and his brother Tom Evans. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Phillips (Don) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Sydnee Phillips (Christopher Young) of Cedar Rapids and Savanna Phillips of Cedar Rapids; and his siblings, Jim Evans (Pat) of Shellsburg, Bob Evans (Didi) of Cedar Rapids, Chuck Evans (Becky) of Cedar Rapids and Kay Ann Welch (Al) of Shellsburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
