Marvin C. Quaas Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2025, at the age of 84, Marvin C. Quaas of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Quaas and Dorothy Quaas; and his brother LeRoy Quaas. He is survived by: his brother Randy Quaas (Linda) of Maple Plain, MN; his children, Mark Quaas (Susan) of Arlington, TX and Jill Heyerdahl (Doug) of Cedar Hill, TX; his granddaughters, Elise Collins (Caleb) of Chino, CA and Mariah Dampeer (Payten) of Robinson, TX; and his former wife Eileen Novak of Denton, TX.. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, as well as many life-long friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 9:00 AM and on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (141 E 1st St, Waconia, MN 55387).
