Marvin C. Quaas Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2025, at the age of 84, Marvin C. Quaas of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Marvin has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Quaas and Dorothy Quaas; and his brother LeRoy Quaas. He is survived by: his brother Randy Quaas (Linda) of Maple Plain, MN; his children, Mark Quaas (Susan) of Arlington, TX and Jill Heyerdahl (Doug) of Cedar Hill, TX; his granddaughters, Elise Collins (Caleb) of Chino, CA and Mariah Dampeer (Payten) of Robinson, TX; and his former wife Eileen Novak of Denton, TX.. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, as well as many life-long friends.
