He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Easley and Juanita Easley (Pruitt); his parents-in-law, Luther Nelson and Karen Nelson; and his sister Michele "Mikie" Sue Easley.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Easley (Nelson) of Cedar Rapids; his children, Kelli Africh (Chris) of Cedar Rapids and Kyle Easley (Jenny) of Solon; his grandchildren, Oliver, Evan Africh, RJ, Jude, Silas Smalley, Charlie and Georgie Easley; and his brother Ted Easley (Barbara).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Chapel (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
