He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Mead and Margaret Mead (Koenigsberger); his wife Connie Vanourney; and his brother Rick Mead. He is survived by: his friend Mike Dey (Mary) of Portage, Michigan.; his children, Lisa Robinson (Ian) of Cedar Rapids and Brian Mead (Jennifer) of De Soto, Kansas; his grandchildren, Madeline, Miles, Alex and Riley; and his brother Ron Mead (Linda) of O'Fallon, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
