He was predeceased by: his son Michael William Reed; his brother Rick Allen Reed; and his parents, Donald Reed and Linda Reed (Magnuson). He is survived by: his wife Carmen; his children, Amber Carter of Cedar Rapids, Keneth Reed (Erica) of Marion, Colton Reed of Cedar Rapids and Johnathan Reed of Iowa City; his grandchildren, Jesse, Collin, Cali, Grace, Nicole and Rick; his siblings, Anthony Reed (Susan) of Marion and Heidi Reed-Becker (Travis) of Marion; and his stepmother Lydia Reed of Marion.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Family Center (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
