He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Elmer Burton McCoy and Helen BuWalda McCoy; his wife Judi; his children, Stephen Scott McCoy (Valerie) of Cedar Rapids and Deb Jurkowski (Ron) of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, Karen Rhoads (Bruce) of Cedar Rapids, Joan Stien of Newhall, Joe McCoy (Verlene) of Cedar Rapids, Chuck McCoy (Tina) of Batavia, Iowa and Jeannie Brown (Ed) of Prescott, Arizona; his brother-in-law Stan Doud (Sheryl) of Des Moines, Iowa; and also, Black Angus and Be-Bop-A-Loo-La. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in honor of Mick to the Anna Purna Ghosh Foundation or to the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy.
