He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Long; and his parents, William Maltby and Lena Maltby (Johnson). He is survived by: his daughters, Merlene Burry (Jeff) of Alma, Monica Cochran (Brian) of Cedar Rapids and Monette Waller (Gary) of Marion; his grandchildren, Eric Burry of Longmont, Shanna Stumpf (Spencer) of North Liberty and Karyn Burry of Aurora; and his great grandchildren, Olivia and Priscilla Burry.
