She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary-Jeanne Montgomery and Raoul Montgomery; her husband Robert; and her sister Judy Onthank. She is survived by: her children, Nicole Cassell (Trevor) and Nicholas Cassell (Andrea); her grandchildren, David Sowerby (Joshua), Ashley Sowerby (Michael), Keller and Willa; her brother Buck Montgomery (Cathy); and her brother-in-law Jim Onthank (Judy).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Nancy's name to the Detroit Zoological Society where contributions help support the Butterfly Gardens.
