She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsner Vomacka and Louise Vomacka (Sloup); her husband Ken Kalous; and her brother Richard Vomacka. She is survived by: her son Jason Powers (Mary) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Caitlin Bickford (Brandon) of Cedar Rapids and Jackson Powers of Cedar Rapids; her great grandchildren, Emmett and Irie; her sister Linda Hasson of Marion, Iowa; her sister-in-law Mary Vomacka of Amana, Iowa; and her pet Chewy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
