It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia Lillian Koppes of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on August 5, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Anthony Bierman and Celia Elizabeth Bierman (Breuer); her husband Ronald Herbert Koppes; and her sisters, Marjorie Ann Blitgen and Carol C. Michels.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Lily and Abby; her daughter Kim Albers (Bryan); her siblings, Clarence Bierman (Carolyn), Karen Sommers, Sharon Ritcher and Beverly Pitz (Thomas); and her brother-in-law Jim Koppes (Dianne).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (20249 St Joseph's Dr, Durango, IA 52039). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
