He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Timlin and Jean Timlin (Kelly); his brothers, Gerald and Mark Timlin; his nephew Michael Timlin; and his granddaughter Kymara Trpkosh.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Trpkosh (Lahr); his children, Trent Trpkosh (Diane) of Swisher, IA, Tyson Trpkosh (Luda) of Lee's Summit, MO and Tara Trpkosh of Cedar Rapids, IA; his brothers, George Timlin (Ann) of Granger, IN and Greg Timlin (Mary Lee) of Iowa City, IA; and his sister-in-law Kathy Timlin of Lawler, IA.. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews; nine grandchildren.
A prayer was held on Sunday, March 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Teahen Funeral Home (3100 F Ave NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405). Visitation was held on Sunday, March 8th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (4949 Council St NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
Memorials may be directed to St. Pius X Catholic Church, the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy or the Hall-Perrine Cancer Center.
