She was predeceased by: her father Frank D. Waldeck; and her husband Gerald Zahradnik. She is survived by: her mother Francis A. Waldeck (Rouse); her sons, Douglas Zahradnik (Jason Dircks), Daniel Zahradnik (Cheryl), Dean Zahradnik (Shelly) and David Zahradnik (Adriana); and her grandchildren, Noah, Reed, Will, Gabrielle, Blake, Taylor and Zach.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to either of these organizations in memory of Rae.
