With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Raymond Lawrence Hendrickson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 14, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Hendrickson and Inez Hendrickson (Whisler); and his son Scott. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his daughter Jan Hoover (Dean); his daughter-in-law Shelly Hendrickson of Aurora, CO; his stepdaughters, Jerri Stockman and Debb Rogers (Dave) of Casper, WY; his grandchildren, Daniel, David, Jeff, Jordan, Madison, Brook, Nicole, Andy, Ben, Brock, Jill and Cassandra; his great grandchildren, Kenny, Eliza, Miles, Jamison, Rayne, Eoin, Hadley, Maddux, Kayla, Drake, Dayne, Lonni, Cactus Jack, Carmine, Calyn, Camille and Killian; and his half-brother Harley DeVore (Char) of Bettendorf, IA.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Melrose Meadows Wellness Center (350 Dublin Dr, Iowa City, IA 52246). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 1:45 PM at the same location.
