He was predeceased by: his parents, John Anderson and Carrie Anderson (Larson); and his son Alec Anderson. He is survived by: his children, Christine Pehlke (Richard) and Richard Anderson (Diane); his sister Beverly King (Jack); and his daughter-in-law Karen Anderson. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (600 6th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50309).
