We are sad to announce that on May 30, 2025, at the age of 84, Richard Grapes of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Grapes and Wilma Grapes (Wentz); his son Rick; and his brothers, Duane Lentner and David Grapes.

He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, Roy Grapes, Randy Grapes (Tracy) and Roxanne Cryder (John); and his daughter-in-law Robyn Grapes.
