He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Crone and Wilma Crone (Brinning) of Washington, Iowa.. He is survived by: his wife Lanette "Nettee" of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his daughters, Traci Havel (Todd) of Altoona and Heidi Link (Andy) of O'Fallon, Missouri; his stepsons, Christopher Pultz (Amy) of Anamosa, Iowa and Eric Pultz of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his siblings, Tod Crone (Cheryl) of Washington, Iowa and Janet Crawford (late Dwaine) of Washington, Iowa; his brother-in-law Dwaine Crawford; his nephews, Ronnie Crawford and Russ Crone; his niece Nancy Crawford; and his great-niece Kylie Crawford. He is also survived by eight nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the Mayo Clinic for cancer research.
