He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hoffman and Dorothy Hoffman; his wife Kathie King-Hoffman; his siblings, Mary Kay Hoffman-Boston and Baby John Hoffman; his son Jamie Hoffman; and his close friend Steve.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melanie Hoffman, Kellie Hoffman and Ann Offermann (Boyd Brown); his grandchildren, Amanda Nugent (Nick), Joey Hoffman (Lillie), Oliver, Elliot, Amelia Offerman-Brown, Brooklynn and Dylan Gatewood; his great grandchild Caleb Nugent; and his siblings, Richard "Dick" Hoffman (Kathy), Sally Hoffman, Ronald "Ron" Hoffman (Barb), Jean Becker (Stephen), Linda Elliff (John), Laureen Hauptmann (Damon) and Janet Carbonell (AR).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family at 6040 1st Avenue NW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52405, for a memorial bench to be placed in Utah in Bob's honor.
