He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard L. Petersmith and Betty J. Petersmith (Davenport). He is survived by: his wife Mary M. O'Brien of Cedar Rapids; his sons, Curtis Petersmith (Michelle Ruhs) of Palo, Cory Petersmith of Cedar Rapids and Bryan Petersmith (Kate Peiffer) of Hiawatha; his grandchildren, Jaelyn, Alex, Aria, Quinten and Everly; and his siblings, Ellen Smith (Rex) of Cedar Rapids, Susan Kelsey of Columbus, Mary Kristen Howe of Shell Beach, CA and Richard Petersmith (Jodi) of Cedar Rapids.
Memorials may be directed to St. Luke's Hospice in Cedar Rapids.
