He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Siechert and Helen Siechert (Schultz); his brother David Siechert; his niece Lori Richardson; his son-in-law Larry Woodard; and his close friend Ray Burke.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Siechert of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his daughters, Robyn Woodard of Whitten, Iowa, Rebecca Cunningham (James) of Matthews and Rachelle Siechert of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and his grandsons, Robert Woodard, Dustin Woodard (Kristin), Brandon Cunningham and Dalton Cunningham (Katelyn). He is also survived by many loving extended family members and friends.
