He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Eugene and Jennielee Bowen (Wilber); and his brother Bruce Bowen. He is survived by: his children, Jennielee Cordes (Jason) of Cedar Rapids and Daniel Bowen (Elissa) of Ewing; his grandchildren, Cole Cordes (Toby), Rowyn Cordes of Cedar Rapids, Emry Bowen and Samuel Bowen of Ewing; and his siblings, Gordon Bowen (Joyce) of Kendallville, Indiana., Susan Bowen of Kendallville, Indiana. and Kathy Alleshouse (Curt) of Kendallville, Indiana..
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services (1844 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
