He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ethel and Frank Valenta; and his brother Jim. He is survived by: his wife Renee Recker; his sons, Calvin Valenta and Mitchell Valenta; his stepson Trenton Recker; his brother Thomas (Brenda); and his nephew Zak.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Chapel (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
