She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Moroney and Matrona Moroney (Keegan); her daughter Jody Rummel; her grandson Cooper Rummel; her brother Patrick Moroney; and her brother-in-law Lee Bossom.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Rummel of Monti, IA; her sons, Jeff Rummel (Amy) of Independence, IA, Michael Rummel (Kristine) of Norway, IA, Mark (Angela Rummel), Dan Rummel (Jennifer) of Erie, CO and Dean Rummel (Katie) of Timnith, CO; her grandchildren, Nick Rummel, Madi Montross (Brittney), Jack Rummel, Carson Rummel, Sadie Rummel, Kassie Rummel, Sawyer Rummel, Gabe Rummel, Paige Rummel, Noah Rummel, Sam Rummel, Larkin Rummel, Zoe Rummel and Harper Rummel; her siblings, Carol Ann Bossom of Blairstown, IA, Judy Corkery (Jeff) of Peosta, IA and Terry Moroney (Mary) of Monti, IA; and her sister-in-law Colleen Moroney of Monti, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A rosary was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Monti Hall. Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Monti Community Center (2854 Washington Ave, Coggon, IA 52218). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (2856 Washington Ave, Coggon, IA 52218).
