Roy Wilson III Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2025, at the age of 54, Roy Wilson III of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Roy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Roy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his mother Georgia Wilson. He is survived by: his father Roy Jr. "Smoke" Wilson (Peg); his grandmother Karen Hindenach (Dave); his daughters, Chrystal Kite (Dale), Courtney Dulin (Sean) and Kayla Connelly (William); his siblings, Bronica Spaw (Johnny), Kip Wilson (Kathleen), Dallas Wilson (Jennifer) and Matthew Wilson (Ann); and his cousin Jamie Oberbreckling (Sam). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fairfax American Legion.
