It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Patterson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, James and Yvonne Leathers; her aunts, Wanita Leathers, Revonne Butler, Linda Levins and Karen Levins; and her niece Sabrina Martinez.

She is survived by: her daughter Liahna Patterson; her parents, Roy L Patterson (Deandra) of New London, IA and Debora Kay Patterson of Burlington; her siblings, Roy Patterson, III (Brennan) of Oakville, IA, Tony Sink of Eldon, MO, Heather Martinez (Fabian) of Texas, Kristan Barclay (RJ) of Burlington, IA and Mindy Moore of New London, IA; her grandfather John Levins of Burlington; her uncles, James Leathers (Lisa) of Danville, IA and Danny Levins of Burlington; her aunt Holly Leathers of Hannibal, MO; and her nieces and nephews, Jozalynn Martinez, Raquel Martinez, James Garrison, Marshall Garrison, Kaylee, Raylee Moore, Ayveri Sink, Elija Sink, Colt Patterson and Junior.

Due to the concerns regarding COVID-19, the family has asked for attendees to wear masks and practice social distancing.

A memorial has been established for her daughter's education.
