He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Dean Phelps and Betty Ann Gifford. He is survived by: his wife Florence Kelsey; his sons, Aaron of Marion and Chad of Marion; his stepdaughter Angie Hilzendager (Darrell) of Cedar Rapdis; his grandson Chase; his stepgrandchildren, Aaron and Ashley; and his brothers, Rex Phelps (Tora) of Cedar Rapids and Brad Phelps of Edina, MO. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial tributes be directed to Pancreatic Cancer Research in Scott Phelps' name.
