He was predeceased by: his brother Doug Farley Jr.; his sister-in-law Carles Farley; and his sibling's children, Noah Farley and Katie Farley. He is survived by: his parents, Douglas Farley Sr. of McGregor and Bernice "Barney" Farley of Cedar Rapids; his wife Hyra Farley; his children, Max and Ava Farley; the mother of his children Heather Dougherty; his stepdaughter Jade Bieber of Cedar Rapids; his brother Kelly Farley (Christine) of Aurora, Illinois; his mother-in-law Clara Alfante; his nephews, Douglas III and Brandon Farley; and his pets, Hawk, Mia, Pocket and Silvey. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Chapel (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
