She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Zeimet and Dorothy Zeimet; her husband John B. "Twinny" Costello; her brother-in-law Tom Rethwisch; and her nephews, Brian and Tom Houlihan.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Meyer (Keith) of Eitzen, Minnesota, John Costello (Kayla) of Lansing, Iowa, Michelle Kishman (Joe Gillitzer) of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin and Tom Costello of Lansing, Iowa.; and her siblings, Joe Zeimet (Rita), Sue Richards (Dave), Sandy Rethwisch, Sally Rethwisch (Mark "Soup"), Jake Zeimet and Jerry Zeimet (Kim). She is also survived by her four children: 13 grandchildren: 23 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (857 3rd Ave SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403). A Mass will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM.
