It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Mae Witte Siders of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Williamsburg, Iowa, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Millard Witte and Merwin "Merch" Witte (Mullnix); and her brothers, Eugene Witte (Delores), Loren Witte and Wayne Witte.

She is survived by : her daughter Renee McElmeel (Mark) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Alex McElmeel and Ryan McElmeel; and her siblings, Lloyd Witte (Sandra), Kenneth Witte (Sarah), Leland Witte (Sherrie) and Sandra Sanders (Donald).

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Legacy Center at Murdoch-Linwood (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
