He is survived by : his wife Susan Ovel of Cedar Rapids; his sons, Chad (Thu) and Vietnam; his siblings, G. Scott Ovel of Cedar Rapids and Barbara Lemon of Hiawatha, Iowa.; his grandchildren, Vienna, Isabella Ovel, Vietnam, Emma, Olivia and Claire; his nephew Zach Ovel; and his nieces, Stacey Crist (Mitchell) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa., Melissa Doudna (Matt) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. and Jennifer Durgin (Erin) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa..
