With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Schmidt of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Anamosa, Iowa, who passed away on May 31, 2022 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Susan Schmidt to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert W. Peet and Pauline Kyle Peet of Martelle; and her son Michael. She is survived by: her children, Amy Schmidt Mann (Joel), Debra Schmidt and Eric James Schmidt (Hilary); her husband James Schmidt; her grandchildren, Miranda, Alex Schweer, Joey, Jerzey, Andrew, Matthew and Lucas Galloro; and her siblings, Douglas Peet and Ellen Aakre. She is also survived by two nieces and three nephews.
Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church for the music ministry and organ fund.
