With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Teresa Sopousek of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 2, 2025 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Teresa Sopousek to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Snitil and Matilda Snitil (Schwankl); her husband Milton Sopousek; her son Donald Sopousek; her children-in-law, Betty Stref and Rick Hurlbert; her great grandchildren, Quentin and Luke; and her siblings, Ray Snitil, Lillian Stava and Frank Snitil Jr..

She is survived by: her children, David Sopousek, Dennis Sopousek (Gayle), Susan Parker (John) and Christine Grier (John); and her daughter-in-law Sue Sopousek. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Camp Courageous or St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.
