With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Terese Claeys of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on September 21, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Terese's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Terese has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tony Kotchevar and Mayme Kotchevar; and her siblings, Jim and Mary. She is survived by: her husband Carroll Claeys; her children, David, Catherine (Mark) and Gregory (Eva); her grandchildren, Samantha, Claire and Meja; and her sister Ellie Zgonc.
