He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert William Osweiler and Marilyn Lou Bickford; his siblings, Loras, Jeff Osweiler and Rhonda Osweiler; and his sister-in-law Margaret Osweiler.

He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Gent (James Gent), Colleen Johnston, Becky Osweiler, Kurt Osweiler and Scott Osweiler; and his sister-in-law Jane Osweiler. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
