He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Darwin and Miriam Elizabeth Colvin (Kimbal); and his brother Steve. He is survived by: his wife Sonya Peterson Brandhoij; his son Christopher Colvin (Helen); his grandson Will of Ames; his daughter Kristel Saxton (John) of Iowa City; his sister Patricia Stumme (Terry) of Albert Lea; his parents-in-law, Barbara Colvin of Hawkeye, Troy Peterson (Mary) of Humboldt, Roy Peterson (Kim) of Hermann, Heidy Vosberg (Daryl) of Lake Elmo and Lory (Roy) of Callahan; and his friends, Betsy and Tom Gardner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
