He was predeceased by: his parents, Darwin Eugene Tharp and Cleo Tharp Pickerell. He is survived by: his wife Mary Tharp; his siblings, Larry Tharp, Janet Baumgartner (Dave) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. and Darlene Ealy of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.; his children, Nichole Bussey (Thad) of Ely, Iowa, Derek Tharp (Bridget) of Scarborough, Maine, Amanda Tharp and Madison Tharp of Cedar Rapids; and his grandchildren, Tristen, Peyton, Amelia, Asher, River and Ruby.
Memorials may be directed to the Dennis & Donna Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha.
