She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Franke and Esther Collis (Hach). She is survived by: her son Robert Newburn; her grandson Josiah Newburn; and her close friend Cindy Usher.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Papich-Kuba Funeral Home East (1228 2nd St SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Memories Cemetery (3669 Logan Ave, Waterloo, IA 50703).
