She was predeceased by: her parents, Aloysius Goedken and Sylveria Goedken (Harter); her husband Karl Tschirgi of Mary's Catholic Church; her siblings, Florian Goedken (Darlene), Wilma Burkle (Herb), Lavern Goedken (Mary McDermott) and Mary Ann Wichman (Joe); and her brothers-in-law, Lynn Wolf, Verdeen, Jan and Clair Tschirgi.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patti Sampson (Dave) of Cedar Rapids, Barb Miller (Doug) of Cedar Rapids and Jean Erb (Randy) of Cedar Rapids; her siblings, Rose Marie Wolf of Marion and Joe Goedken (Paulette); and her brother-in-law Earl McDermott of Cascade, Iowa. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
