He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Holst and Betty Holst (Addison); his son Chad Holst; and his siblings, Kim, Colleen and Bill.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Holst; his sons, Christopher Holst and Casey Holst (Jeri); his grandchildren, Tiphanie Chokrallah (Nawfal), McKenzie Anderson (Cody), Koda Holst, Tyler and Caleb Holst; his siblings, Judy Brown (Ronald) and Gary Holst (Sue); and his siblings-in-law, Paulie Dressler and Larry Lagerquist. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Brosh Chapel - Cedar Rapids (2121 Bowling St SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Brosh Chapel (2121 Bowling St SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404).
