It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Kinney of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Salem, Iowa, who passed away on July 20, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Omar Kinney and Myrtle Jane Kinney (Young); his son Bruce Wayne; his siblings, Irma (Howard Mabeus), Beverly "Lois" (Dallas), Darrell (Florence Kinney), Alvin (Juanita Kinney) and Wendell (Roberta Kinney); and also Karen Kinney of Minneapolis, Minnesota..

He is survived by: his children, Darrell, Alvin, Wendell, Larry, Irma and Lois; his former wife Reva Greer; his wife Judith Buscher Kinney; his children, Kevin Kinney (Ginny) and Deborah Williams; his grandchildren, Zach Williams (Jamie), Seth Williams, Chad Kinney (Jenny) and Shawn Kinney (Kelly Harger); his brother Larry Kinney of Minneapolis; and his siblings-in-law, Galen Buscher (Brenda) and Joyce Burg (Tony).

Donations may be made in Wayne's name to the Shriners Hospital for Children or Hospice of Mercy.
