He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Charles and Helen Bratton (Kozar); and his granddaughter Lindsay Jones. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Stookey of Cedar Rapids; his children, Jonathan Bratton (Lori) of Cedar Rapids, IA, David Bratton (Angela) of Highlands Ranch, CO and Barbara Ross (Bob) of Ottumwa, IA; and his siblings, John "Jay" Bratton (Dee) of Greensburg, PA and Josephine Calabrese of Cleveland, OH..
