He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard E. James and Gladys James (McFarland); his children, Lori James and Chuck James; the mother of his children Carol James; his fiancée Judith Martin; his brother-in-law Lyle Weston; and his nephew Tim Franklin.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff and Lisa; his daughter-in-law Tina; his sisters, Maelene Weston (Bobbie) and Rosalee Franklin; his brother-in-law Larry Franklin; his grandchildren, John James (Amanda), Kayla Orr (Chris), Justin James (Caitie) and Amber James (Nick Brabandt); and his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Jaxon James, James, Nolan, Charlotte Orr, Alexia and Noah Brabandt. He is also survived by children, who knew him as a loving grandfather.
