He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. Anderson and Anna Anderson (Berge); and his siblings, James Anderson (Jim) and Gail Sue Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his son Brian (Michelle) of Bluffton; and his sisters, Rebecca Beusch (Thomas C.) of Kildeer, IL, Jeanne Hoyt (Thomas G.) of Overland Park, KS, Lisa Twedt (Richard J.) and Lori (Tom E.) of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (1000 3rd Ave SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kids First (kidsfirstiowa.org) or First Lutheran Church—two places that reflect the values Bill lived by: commitment, community, and care.
