William Lee Stewart Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Lee Stewart of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on April 26, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvel Stewart and Elizabeth Stewart (Hoff); and his siblings, Robert, Albert, James, Richard Stewart and Iona McClenahan.
He is survived by: his wife Harlene Hawkins; his children, Dawn Wingert (Scott), Richard Stewart (Nhess) and Jon Stewart; his grandchildren, Kileen Granata, Rachel Granata, Margaret Granata and Michael Stewart; his sisters, Pat Hildebrand and Norma Berry (David); his brothers-in-law, Harlin Hawkins (Sandi) and Lauren Hawkins (Shelly); and his former wife Lucille Stewart. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight, Indian Creek Nature Center and or to Hope Lutheran Church in his name.
