With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Norris of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 23, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jackson and Ruth Bernice Norris (Hotz). He is survived by: his pet Bandit; his wife Barbara Jeanne O'Neal of Cedar Rapids; and his children, Bill Norris Jr. (Brenda) of Ironwood, MI, Beth Fenchel (Steve) of Pickford, MI and Bob Norris (Laurie) of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the family, to be used for a future memorial fund or the charity of their choice.
