With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Davis Snyder (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), born in Rapid City, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 26, 2025 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ellsworth and Charlotte Gretchen Keys Snyder; his brothers, John and Robert Snyder; and his siblings-in-law, Doris Jean Snyder, Iris Glanzman, Arlis Jansen, Aileen, Doris Boschma, Byron, Lawrence Boschma and Walter Glanzman.
He is survived by: his spouse Jean Alice Boschma; his children, Katherine Mae Snyder, Mary Alice Snydersmith and George William Snyder (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Lindsey Allison Hoffman (Neil), Christopher Snyder Burt, Phoebe Jean Snydersmith, Will Abraham Snydersmith, Simon Roger Snydersmith, Abigail Gretchen Snyder and Nicholas Alexander Snyder; his brothers, Richard, Charles (Lucille Reilly) and James; and his brother-in-law Duane Jansen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
