William Weininger Obituary
William Weininger, born on December 29, 1944, passed away on October 27, 2026. William leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Helen Weininger (Hopper) and Vernon Wesley Weininger; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Hemphill and Kevin Ealy. He is survived by: his wife Diann; his sons, Chris (Amy) and Jason (Becky); his grandchildren, Paige, Travis, Lydia and Logan; and his sisters, Marilyn Hemphill and Carolyn Andrews (Walt).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Eastern Iowa Arts Academy (2630 B Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
He looked forward to seeing friends at the Freedom Foundation and was part of the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight in 2023.
