It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie Fitkin of Cedar, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on June 30, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Doris West and Marvin "Joe" West; her children, Elliott and Stacy; and her sister Terry Smith.

She is survived by : her husband David Fitkin; her children, Stacey, Joshua Fitkin (Ruthann) and Angela Bell (Michael); and her siblings, Wendy Mudd (John) and Les West. She is also survived by her six grandchildren.
