She was predeceased by: her father Randall Richard; her father-in-law Richard Butikofer; her grandparents, Thomas, Arlene Van Gelder, Richard and Margaret Ohrt; and her nephew Ian Joseph Felton.
She is survived by: her mother Cynthia Sue Ohrt (Van Gelder); her husband Eric; her sons, Aaron and Andrew; her sister Suzanne Felton (Dale); her daughter Angela Snyder (Chris); her grandchildren, Carter and Allie; her mother-in-law Donna Butikofer; her sister-in-law Emily Strasen (Jim); her sibling's children, Lindsey and Laura; and her sister-in-law Evonne Sabiiti (Eria). She is also survived by uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Illyria Community Church. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hope United Church of Christ (150 9th Ave, Hiawatha, IA 52233).
The family suggests memorials in her memory towards research through the Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation at https://give.myotonic.org. or to the family, who will make contributions in her memory to the fine arts and athletic programing at Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School and Cedar Rapids Washington High School.
