He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia McPartland (Goslin) and Cliff Meloan (James McPartland); his daughters, Molly and Elizabeth; and his brother Kip Meloan.
He is survived by: his wife Betsy (Lee); his sons, Matt and Danny Jr. (Katie); his grandsons, Jacob (Matt), Caleb and Andrew (Danny Jr.); and his siblings, Jim McPartland (Kathy) and Sue Hutchins. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews.
